MTS Systems Corporation
Following the founding of MTS in 1951 (Headquarters in Minneapolis, USA) the company rapidly developed into a leading supplier of test and simulation systems and magnetostrictive sensor technology. Today MTS Systems Corporation has about 2000 employees worldwide and offers innovative solutions for world-famous companies from the automotive industry, aerospace equipment, manufacturing, medical companies, research institutes and original equipment manufactures.
In 1970 MTS Sensors was the first to employ the principle of magnetostriction for position sensors and liquid level gauges. We have thus rendered valuable pioneering work in the development of high-precision, future-oriented sensors. At three sites Lüdenscheid (Germany), Cary (North Carolina, USA) and Tokyo (Japan) 300 employees work in development, production and sales of linear position and liquid level sensors. Intensive basic research is efficiently merged with a consistent focus on practical requirements. Result is innovative sensor technology for a wide range of potential industrial and non-industrial applications.
MTS Sensors Technology Corp. acquired ISO 9001, international quality management standard, at the head office and plant in Tokyo on January 2, 2013, and Osaka Sales Office and Nagano Sales Office on June 24, 2013. The company aims to secure and supply our products and service to our customers and obtain further customer satisfaction as well as continue quality improvement.
