Gustav Wolf was founded in 1887 and looks back on over 100 years of experience in the production of high quality steel wires, steel cord and steel wire ropes.

Starting as a small local wire rope company, it grew into an internationally operating group during the last 100 years. Today, special products are produced at the highest quality level at 5 production sites in Germany, France, Dubai and India. With more than 700 motivated employees, the Gustav Wolf group processes approximately 85,000 tons of steel annually to make approximately 35,000 kilometers of ropes, cords and strands.

Through our global distribution network, we are able to fill the needs of our customers on short notice together with our reliable partners in North America, Asia and Australia.

The affiliated distribution company Hanfwolf with several branch offices in Germany and a sales company in Austria is also a part of the Wolf Group. Naturally, the company is certified to DIN ISO 9001/2000.
