Year of establishment of GIVI MISURE. Production of optical scales and digital readouts begins.
1991
Acquisition of Sipe Automazione and Metromil share capital. Production of rotary incremental encoders begins.
1997
The quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001:1994, then turned into ISO 9001:2000 in 2003, and into ISO 9001:2008 in 2010.
1999
Production of optical scales mod. PBS for synchronized press brakes begins. GIVI MISURE obtains excellent results in this sector, thus achieving leading positions.
2002
Production of optical scales mod. NCS for CNC machines begins. In the same year, GIVI MISURE starts producing magnetic measuring systems mod. MTS, designed for machines processing wood, marble, glass and sheet metal.
2003
Year of establishment, in India, of Givi Misure Pvt. Ltd. with the goal
of commercializing GIVI MISURE's products in emerging countries.
2008
Production of position controllers mod. THESI and color touch-screen
LCD digital readouts mod. VISION begins.
2009
New digital readouts with magnetic sensor mod. VISION 110 and new miniaturized magnetic sensors mod. MTR become available.
2010 - 2011
Givi Misure invests in absolute technology, launching innovative and high-performance products. The company starts producing absolute magnetic sensors AGM, absolute optical scales AGS, magnetic scales MTT (incremental) and MTB (absolute), with self-aligning reader head, and absolute encoders AEN.
